The conservation of the historic munitions depot on Cole Island included the restoration of the heavy timber floors and roofs and the repointing of the stone and brick walls with a hot-mix lime mortar. In addition to providing project management services throughout the project, JDA preceded this effort with a condition assessment report identifying the recommended scope of work and assisted with securing funding for the work through the Parks Canada Cost Sharing Program.
